The Island Housing Trust works closely with several Island housing organizations that have representatives on the Trust’s Board of Directors and are housed at the Vineyard Housing Office.
FUNDRAISING
Island Affordable Housing Fund is the Trust’s sister non-profit that fund raises and makes project specific grants to the Trust for land acquisition and construction.
RENTAL MANAGEMENT & HOMEBUYER SERVICES
Dukes County Regional Housing Authority is a public agency that serves as the Trust’s rental property manager and provides services to prospective homebuyers.
BUILDERS & DEVELOPERS
Habitat for Humanity of Martha’s Vineyard is a non-profit developer that has partnered with the Trust to build ownership housing on Trust land. Habitat utilizes volunteer labor and donation of materials and money to build and rehabilitate affordable housing.
Bridge Housing Corporation is a non-profit developer of affordable housing.
